HyVee Field Trip





The last day of kindergarten Mrs. Peterson took the class to HyVee for a field trip.  They talked about dairy foods, meats, cereals, and garden foods.  They got to see the storage room and to step into the freezer.  Mena reached into the bag to guess what foods were in it (avacado and zucchinni); she excitedly yelled out "cucumber" when the employee held up the zucchini--so close!  They also got to taste a carrot chip, cherry tomato, and blue berry.
