Kahoa Field Day

These first three pictures are of Blob Tag.  If someone tagged you, then you had to join arms with them.  Mena enjoyed it until she fell.  In the last picture you can see the sores on her forehead.  Her headband slide forward and the little poky parts that are supposed to keep it in your hair ended up scratching her forehead and poking holds in her forehead!!

Mena lined up with her PE squad and then took turns playing hockey with a potato.  They had to push the potato to another cone and back to the starting cone.

During the beach relay, Heather (the other Girl Scout leader with me) was helping Mena to unload the beach bag, put on sunglasses, and lay down to read a magazine.  Then she had to reload the bag and run back to the next person in line.

Turn your classmate into a mummy!

Joplin is directing Mena to spray water on their classmates.

Mena paused and stepped over each hurdle in the "steeple chase."

Overall a fun day.  I volunteered in the morning to lead a station while the older classes had field day.  Then I ate a picnic lunch with Mena before we went through the field day stations with her class.
