Elijah & the Widow's Bread

In Preschool Sunday School we talked about Elijah and the Widow's Bread.  Then we made play dough bread.  Taylor, Maggie, and Alex were the only 3 kids at the 10:30 class so they got lots of play dough that they were able to take home.  Also, so happened that they all have an older sister so I told them to share since they had so much.  The older sisters were excited!

Mena's and Tyler's Family Birthday Party

We had the fall birthdays at PE 101 in Omaha.  Mena brought Presley with her and Tyler invited 2 of his friends.  It was a great place to let the kids run around and have fun before presents and cupcakes with ice cream.

The girls and I celebrated my birthday at Hacienda Real with Ryan, Angie, Aurora, and Parker.  Delicious food and great conversation with friends!

Mena's New Loft Bed

I bought Mena a used loft bed for her birthday and I painted it purple.  We added pink pool noodles to make the ladder softer on the feet.  She added the "Inside Out" pictures from her birthday party to decorate.  I like how Maggie's bed comes out like an "L" so I can stand on it to reach the loft to give Mena a hug before bed.  The girls love laying together in the loft watching their tablets.

Mena's note says, "Thank you for giving me the loft bed.  I love you.  I was glad I could climb my bed."

Mena's Friend Birthday Party

All the kids left to right:
Asher, Kylinn, Mena, Maggie, Holly, Presley, Aunalie, Aurora, Tessa, Taelynn (back), and Joplin (front).

Her party was themed after the movie "Inside Out."  We'll be buying that one when it comes out!

Gymnastics

Mena is now in gymnastics which is improving her balance and coordination a lot!  It was hard to get pictures through the window.  After gymnastics I took the girls for frozen yogurt and they started feeding each other when they wanted to try each other's flavors.
